The Reform Synagogues of Great Britain have enjoyed approximately
ten years of Falcons services, maintaining all their copying systems,
including the high-speed system in the reprographic department.
The organisation whose aim to bring the Jewish community together,
constantly has to work within deadlines. Quality, reliability and
speedy response to emergency call outs are now more important than
ever.
Hence the reason for their decision to install the state of the art
"Canon CLC1150copy/network print system" After viewing the
quality and performance on a demonstration, last November Ian Spinks
who runs the main reprographic department at the Sternberg Centre
was extremely impressed with the smooth delivery and installation
of the hardware and the set up of system software.
"The main advantages of having the high
quality and speed of the Canon CLC1150 system in house are the ease
of use and the instant availability of a much better looking product
i.e. booklets, A3 posters, flyers and various other marketing materials
from short to large runs. Another major benefit being their large
runs of the "report to the board of trustees", with a saving
of £2000 per annum on this job alone!"
Since writing this article, The Reform Movement have just upgraded
to a new CLC3220 system which has enabled them to produce far more
output in approximately half the time.
